yatra.com: Redesigning online travel booking site

The Challenge

Yatra.com is one of India's top 3 travel portals. They had fallen behind their primary competitor MakeMyTrip. With a clean interface ClearTrip had also become a tough contender. Given the price parity they offer Yatra's key differentiator is the travel deals they offer. This freelancing project required me to evaluate the existing interface of yatra.com - home page, key landing pages, booking flows and provide recommendations how they can improve the overall user experience.

My Role

I worked as a freelance designer for this project. After understanding the key issue from the client, I was responsible to provide usability and experience suggestions to improve the site usage.
